renovation nation - part 4?

Honestly, I've lost track.
It's been a while since I posted any pictures of the ongoing project that is the laundry room. For the most part, it's finished, save a few minor details involving cabinet up-lighting, but I've chosen a LED light strip and will order it in the near future. Other than that, the last major thing I was waiting for was the mirrored back for the bench. I found both (bench and back) at Crate and Barrel, on sale - since they were trying to off-load their white furniture in favor of warmer tones for fall and winter. The size is perfect and gives me places to tuck Kat's "things," since four year olds seem to come with lots of "things."
I also picked up a sisal rug at Pottery Barn because I needed durable, brushable, and something that wouldn't make me cringe every time dirty feet tracked in garage yuckiness. Or desert dust...which we have in abundance.

Other than that, I'm about to wrap this one up and call it done. Now that the weather is cooling off, I have a bookcase I want to strip and re-paint, and a cool idea for a side yard patio and garden. Gotta strike while the iron is hot, and the weather is not.

With love from The Valley of the Sun.
